Good news, Travis Barker was released from the hospital this morning, and is in route to Los Angeles with ex wife Shanna Moakler. It is expected he will continue treatment at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. His friend DJ AM/Adam Goldstein had returned last week.

Both musicians are lucky to be alive, sadly their two friends Chris Baker and Chris Still died in the tragic plane crash. A memorial fund has been set up by Travis’ company, Famous Stars and Straps, to help the families of the two men. Also, it is expected that Chris Baker’s funeral will be held later in the week, it is anticipated that both Travis Barker and DJ AM will attend.

It has been previously reported that Travis Barker suffered from second to third degree burns. Doctors estimate it will take up to a year for him to recover from his injuries. Friends and family report he is trying to maintain a positive attitude, also is reported back together with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
