I encourage everyone to give, Travis Barker and his clothing company Famous Stars and Straps, have set up a memorial fund for Chris Baker and Chris Still’s families. Baker was just 29 years old and is survived by his wife, Jessie, and a toddler son, Sebastian. (Beautiful and sweet photo, you can tell he was a great daddy). He was well loved by friends and family.
According to Sacramento Bee:
“Chris got to see the world with Travis,” Baker’s mother, Linda Warn, told the newspaper. “He went to Japan, Australia, almost all of Europe and every state in the continental U.S., I think. … Once, he called us at 3 a.m. just to tell us he was standing in front of the ‘Mona Lisa.’ ”
Chris Still was only 25 years old, a former football player in high school, a wonderful friend, and a loving devoted son.
The 6-foot-5 Still, described by one friend as “a gentle giant,” was a star football player at Centennial High School in Corona. He attended San Jose State before leaving his studies for two years when his father died.
Still was an imposing figure but also a doting son, who had taken his mother, Thelma Still, out to dinner last month for his late father’s birthday. Still called before the plane took off to let her know he was flying home, his mother said.
Bill Nosal for Famous Stars and Straps released the following statement:
Travis Barker is trying to stay optimistic after multiple surgeries related to the plane crash that caused second- and third-degree burns on his torso and lower half of his body, according to friend Bill Nosal.
“If you make it out of a crash of that magnitude, somebody’s looking out for you,” Nosal, who is also the spokesperson for Barker’s clothing company, Famous Stars and Straps, told The Associated Press on Tuesday (September 23). “He’s trying to stay upbeat.”
