According to this weeks National Enquirer headlines, Oprah and Dr. Phil are in a battle over money. The headline screams, “I will destroy you.” You better watch your back, don’t mess with the O! I’m not sure what the snafu is about but you know it has to be about LOTS OF MOOLA!

Last night Dr. Phil made an appearance on CNN, he gave a glowing review of Sarah Palin, but said he still was “uncertain” who he will vote for. On a side note, I found an interesting tidbit about Dr. Phil on Wikipedia.

In 1989, McGraw was sanctioned by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists for an ethical violation involving a 19-year-old patient and employee (see “Criticisms & controversies: Sanctioned for unethical behavior”, below). Due to the sanctions, McGraw was unable to practice psychology independently. Friction between Phillip and his father increased to the point that McGraw seldom spoke with his father, and his contempt for him became obvious.

Interesting? I like Dr. Phil, but I do think his “schtick” is getting a bit tired. It’s time to hand over the mike to someone new, more positive, and less ego. If Oprah has her way, it might just happen.
