As the saga continues, the latest news is Elizabeth Edwards WILL NOT be appearing with her husband on September 8th at Hofstra University. Originally they were scheduled to appear together, at the last minute she decided to cancel.

UPI reports: 

Since admitting he had an affair with videographer Rielle Hunter, Edwards has spent some time on Figure Eight, the private island near Wilmington, N.C., where he and his wife have a home.Meanwhile, Elizabeth Edwards has been at the couple’s home outside Chapel Hill, N.C.

A day after her husband’s announcement, she wrote on the Daily Kos that she needed privacy to deal with the situation. She said her husband was an “imperfect man who had come to face his own imperfections.”

Edwards has been lucky in the last couple of weeks, the media hasn’t focused on his affair with Rielle Hunter. I think the reason why Elizabeth may not be attending the speaking engagement is health related. It’s been a very difficult time for her, her husband continues to be a selfish jerk, and astrologically I expect it to get worse before it gets better.  We wish her the best.
