How life imitates art, David Duchovny is just like his character on Californication. I knew this guy was too hot to be married to Tea Leoni, they’ve been married for over ten years, and are STILL together. That’s a miracle in Hollywood.

A couple of months ago, it was rumored he was bonking his tennis instructor. I guess they forgot to write the entire country club. Oh well, he’s a great actor, and now he will get the help he needs. Surrounded by other sex addicts, that sounds a bit dangerous.

“The Insider” confirms that David Duchovny has entered a rehabilitation center for sex addiction. “I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction,” the “Californication” actor tells People.com in an exclusive statement delivered by his lawyer, Stanton “Larry” Stein.  The 48-year-old “X-Files” star has been married to actress Téa Leoni since 1997 and the couple have two children together.

David was born on August 7, 1960 and has Sun in passionate Leo. He has Moon in Aquarius, which makes him a freedom    loving, bohemian, kinda dude. He wants to do what he wants, whenever he wants, literally. (Tea must be giving him a long leash.)  He has Venus in Leo, so he craves attention, sex is like a porno movie to this guy. Mars in Gemini gives him a short attention span and makes him kinky.

I don’t think this latest revelation will affect his career, it will probably enhance it. I think he will learn to curb his urges and Tea will continue to stand by her man. Maybe the “sex addict” is an excuse to cover up his affair. If so, clever guy.
