TOM CRUISE - The Rise and Fall of a Hollywood Superstar!

Yikes! Is Tom Cruise’s career a sinking battle ship? After Paramount dropped him last year, his long time business partner Paula Wagner has left as well. It was reported, Cruise will continue to run United Artists, and produce new films. I don’t know Tom, maybe it’s time to put on a life vest, and abandon ship. You have a gorgeous wife, adorable daughter, and the public would really like to see you chill.

The LA Times reports:

Last week, he rocked audiences with his cameo as a profane, hip-jiggling, Machiavellian movie chief in ” Tropic Thunder.” The role was designed to show the world — and Hollywood insiders — that the one-time king of cruise.jpg Hollywood didn’t take himself too seriously and even had comedic chops.

His performance was funny, but somehow as with all things Cruise these days, a black cloud emerged from the silver lining. His tour de force was overshadowed by yet another hellish publicity week, which included debates over whether “Tropic Thunder” was degrading to the mentally disabled.

Also, an inaccurate story that Sony had replaced Cruise in the film “Edwin A. Salt” with “it” girl Angelina Jolie. (According to several sources close to the project, it was Cruise who refused to commit to a start date, and his actual next film looks to be “The Tourist,” a remake of the French thriller “Anthony Zimmer,” to be directed by Lasse Hallström.)

Personally, I think they should give Cruise a break. Yes, the Scientology crap is a bit over the top, but that’s why we love our celebrities. They’re CRAZY! Maybe Cruise should hand over his crown to someone else. Just like Redford and Newman did, gracefully.

What does the astrological future hold for Cruise? Tom was born on July 3, 1962 and has Sun in emotional Cancer. He’s very sensitive by nature, his Moon in Leo makes him one proud dude. Maybe too proud! The respect and admiration of others is incredibly important to him. His Mercury in Gemini makes him super smart and he gets bored easily. His Venus in Leo makes him a loyal friend and incredibly romantic. His Mars in Taurus makes him stubborn and with his square to his Venus, he is also very insecure.

It looks like Tom is probably shitting himself right now. He can’t understand why the public has turned on him. On a positive note, he recently acquired the rights to a popular graphic novel, Sleeper. It’s reported to be a star vehicle for him. If he’s smart, he will let someone like Will Smith star, he can produce, and presto he will find himself back on top.

I think the next year will be very stressful for him but his home life will be solid. Nothing like the love of a good woman. I don’t think Cruise is going anywhere, he will continue to be one of our biggest stars of all time.

  1. Scientology is nuts, but so are all religions. Cruise will be just fine. His company makes good movies, Lions for Lambs deserved better. Kudos to him for not playing it safe and defying Sumner Redstone’s old balls.
