I never knew Bret Michaels was in love with Ambre to begin with. If you’re still in love with the chick, why are you doing Rock of Love 3. Yes, that’s right for the money honey.

As Bret Michaels is about to embark on his third attempt to find love via VH1’s Rock of Love with Bret Michaels reality dating series, the Poison frontman is apparently still pining for the show’s second-season winner Amber Lake.

“I still love her. I’m not really over her yet,” he told People in a Thursday report. “We still hang. She was just out with me a couple days ago and we were having a great time. She’s really got it. I think she’s great.”

Michaels and Lake split last month due conflicting personal schedules, and VH1 wasted no time in renewing Rock of Love for a third season.

I seriously doubt that Ambre dumped Bret. She just moved to LA and like a month later they were broken up. Or did she use him for fame and fortune? It seemed like those two really clicked. I think Bret likes to get his groove on while he’s on the road and I’m sure most women don’t dig it.

After reading all of the messages and comments in response to Bret’s interview today, I felt compelled to respond. First of all, thank you, all of you, for caring so much about Bret and I. Secondly, Bret was being honest with his feelings and it’s obvious that I still love him too. It’s hard to just break up and move forward especially as much as we loved each other…..and still do. Have you ever loved someone so much that it hurts and no matter how much time passes, there will always be a piece of your heart solely for that person? Well, that’s me. Bret will always have a piece of my heart. We do still hang out and we do still talk, I love and wholeheartedly support him in every decision he makes. Therefore, as he ventures on to this new stage in his life, I support him. I will remain strong for him. Maybe there is something for us in the future…who knows or understands how fate works. He was placed in my life for a reason and will always remain in my life for many more substantial reasons. But, for now, Bret is doing ROL Bus and I completely support that.
