Very sad news today, Ocean Eleven’s star Bernic Mac passed away today at the age of 50. Mac died from complications   related to pneumonia in a Chicago-area hospital, announced his publicist, Danica Smith. The comedian suffered from sarcoidosis, a chronic autoimmune disorder that causes inflammation in tissue, most often the lungs.

George Clooney released a statement: 

 ’The world just got a little less funny. He will be dearly missed,’ George Clooney says in a statement.

Bernie Mac was born on October 5, 1957 and had Sun in charming Libra. Mac married his wife Rhonda McCullough in 1977. They had one daughter, Je’Niece (born 1978), who attended Xavier University of Louisiana, where she received both her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. She has been married for three years and has one daughter, Jasmine.

He will be sadly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
