Last week, after the local major newspaper in Seattle posted an interview with Jason Mesnick, the reporter was mobbed with fans demanding his address and phone number. YIKES! Some were very sweet and others were downright CREEPY!

According to the newspaper report:

The idea of falling in love with someone you’ve never met can be seen as either romantic or creepy.

Still, that is what women all over the country have claimed since seeing the finale of “The Bachelorette,” where Jason Mesnick, the Kirkland single father got his heart broken Monday night.

“What if someone you never met, someone you never saw, someone you never knew was the only someone for you?” read one e-mail in my inbox.

Sounds like the fan has been watching “Sleepless in Seattle” way to many times.

The Soundoffs were sprinkled with invitations for dates, with login names such as Jasonfan and IWANTTOMEETJASON, who wrote, “I have been totally into him from the start of the show and I was praying Dianna wouldn’t pick him, so he could be set free for me to meet him!”

Women sent contact info, even pictures of themselves and their children, asking me to forward the information onto Jason or ABC — basically anyone or anything that breathes the same air as Mesnick.

I wonder if Deanna has had these types of problems? My astrological prediction is Jason will break “The Bachelor” casting call records for most submissions to appear on the show. There’s alot of single mama’s looking for a good man. Stay tuned.
