J.K. ROWLING – Cries in Court Today Over Harry Potter Lawsuit!

rowling.jpgJ.K. Rowling, beloved author to Harry Potter was in court today. She’s suing the author of a 400-page Harry Potter Lexicon, an A-Z guide derived from a fan website. She said that the book would interfere with her plan to publish her own Harry Potter encyclopedia and donate the proceeds to charity, as she has already done with her two smaller guides.

Rowling said, “These characters meant so much to me, and continue to mean so much to me, over such a long period of time. It’s very difficult for someone who is not a writer to understand. The closest I can come is to say to someone, ‘How do you feel about your child?’.”

J.K. Rowling was born on July 31, 1965. She has Sun in warm Leo, has Moon and Venus in loyal Virgo, and Mars in flirty Libra. She’s a dynamic writer who is obsessed with her work. She has a great sense of humor and a knack for paying attention to detail. Forbes has named her the first person to become a U.S.-dollar billionaire by writing books. She is also a member of the Church of Scotland. She once said, “I believe in God, not magic.” Although, she has admitted the books represent her own struggle with religious beliefs.

On a personal level, I think this lawsuit is emotionally going to take its toll on her. Her chart shows emotional turmoil, depression, and a tremendous sense of loss. It could possibly destroy her marriage as well. Hopefully not, possibly it could represent her feelings over the ending of the Harry Potter series. Will she win the lawsuit? I think they may settle out of court and part of the sales proceeds will go to charity.

Don’t forget to read your daily horoscopes. Enjoy!
