I bet that headline grabbed ya. No, they are not gay lovers in real life but they are set to play lovers on screen in the new upcoming film, I Love You Phillip Morris. Someone must be fishing for a Oscar nod.

The two actors were recently spotted at a popular gay bar in Miami, called Halo. They said they were doing “research” for the new film. The film is a true story about a Texas inmate who falls in love with his cell mate. McGregor said, “Jim’s character is a con artist and an escape artist, who escapes from prison to be with me. It’s an incredible story.” I think story is fairly typical for most dudes if you’re stuck in jail. I’m sure it’s a sweet love story nonetheless.

Wild and crazy Jim Carrey has Sun in stubborn Capricorn. Carrey has been married twice and had a hot love affair with Renee Zellweger. In December 2005, Carrey began dating actress/model Jenny McCarthy. The pair have since denied engagement rumors. The next three years astrologically is an excellent period for him. Do I think this will be a Oscar winning performance? Maybe for Ewan…but not Jim Carrey. Either way, I think the film will receive positive reviews and create quite a big gossip buzz.
