Jennifer Hudson was born on September 12, 1981 in Chicago, Illinois. Her rocket to fame first began as one of the finalists on the third season of the television series American Idol. Although she did not win the competition, she did win the heart of Americans across the country. Prior to American Idol, Hudson had worked as a singer and actor aboard cruise ships, but never had any formal musical training.

Hudson has Sun in Virgo, an Aries Rising, and Moon in Pisces in the Twelfth House. Her hard working, independent, and sweet spirit shines when she is on stage. Her intuitive nature allows her to feel her audience and give a performance that touches others on a very deep emotional level.

Her Seventh House is loaded with Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn in Libra giving her a grand stellium. In November 2005, Hudson was cast in the prized role of Effie White in the film adaptation of Dreamgirls. Hudson had to gain a total of 20 pounds in order to play the role.[1] She beat out hundreds of professional singers and actresses for the role. Reviews of the film raved about her Hudson’s performance, although she committed a fashion felony at the Oscars, she still took home Best Supporting Actress.

Her breathtaking good looks and enormous talent, Hudson can expect to enjoy a long and rewarding career in the entertainment industry. Also, I predict she will win a Grammy for her new album that has yet to be released.
